Decades of emergency expertise
Rescu is founded and operated by veterans with over 49 years of experience saving lives. From our dedicated 24/7 UL-certified Monitoring Center to our diverse development team behind the Rescu app, we are all dedicated to delivering resources you can trust when emergencies strike.
Inspired by a real-life emergency
The idea for Rescu was born when Alarm Relay founder Paul Piscatelli had sudden, severe cramps in his chest one night. He dialed 9-1-1, but found himself frustrated trying to answer all of the dispatcher’s questions through the intense pain. 30 minutes later, the ambulance finally arrived. Paul later realized that if it had been something more serious, the emergency could have been fatal. There had to be a better way.
Driven to save lives,
guided by our values
Faith
Faith, it shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of the things we cannot see. At its core, Faith is deep-rooted in the expectation of good things to come. While much of hope lives in the mind, faith is steeped in the heart and the spirit. Faith, then, is just as important as the air we breathe. While the oxygen in the air nourishes the body, faith nourishes the heart and the soul. Faith shields us from harm, evil and despair.
Family
Family is important because it provides upbringing, love, support and a framework of values to each of its members. Family members teach each other, serve one another and share life's joys and sorrows. Families provide a setting for growth. Family is the single most important influence in a child's life. Love and sacrifice in families is caring for each others interest, not selfishly, but in the best interest of others.
First Response
First Response is sacred. First to arrive when safety and health are typically at a critical state. First to arrive when most people wouldn’t answer the call. First Response can come from family, neighbors, bystanders, technology, dispatchers, and emergency services. At Rescu, we believe that we always gain by giving, and showing gratitude and thankfulness. Thank you to all the Men and Women that are First Responders!
